Class Overview

Instructor: Mary Margaret McCamic MW

CLASS DURATION: 75 MINUTES

Rare and captivating, the Grands Crus of Burgundy account for only 1%. of wine produced in the region. Even more rare than their red counterpart are the white Grands Crus, from Chablis Grand Cru and its 7 climats southward to Le Musigny, Corton-Charlemagne, Le Montrachet, Chevalier-Montrachet, Bâtard-Montrachet and beyond. This class explores the unique character of each of these compelling white wines, what makes them unique both in the vineyard, in the glass, and how haunting these wines can become with age.
