The Côte de Beaune is home to Burgundy’s most prestigious white wines. Beaune, Pernand-Verglesses, Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, and Chassagne-Montrachet all take center stage here, producing top Grand Cru and Premier Cru expressions of chardonnay. Reds also shine in the villages of Volnay, Pommard, Aloxe-Corton and beyond, making the Côte de Beaune an extraordinary region to explore. This class investigates the elements that define each village, both in the vineyard and in the glass.
